You just need to pull up the letter, add
your state representative & state senators information, print it out &
mail it to them. This is to let them know that they can’t keep playing
with us like that.

this as well, even if they are not members of LMEA.

Charity:
It was decided to adopt LMEA as our
charity for the coming year.
Carol has stated that since we have
little funds left, at this time there isn’t enough money to host a
conference next year.
By adopting LMEA as our charity,
hopefully we can raise enough money to have a conference next year.
Conference:
It was suggested to hold only a one day
conference. The majority of members stated that they couldn’t drive
too far for only one day.
Carol stated that she checked other areas
for holding conferences & that Paragon was the cheapest. It was voted
that if we have a conference next year it would again be at Paragon.
Carol again suggested all regions hold fund raisers for LMEA and to
try & get new members.
T-Shirt sales:
Carol would love to do another t-shirt
sale.
Pat Simpson stated that she will get some
prices.
Grand prize drawing:
The
grand prize this year was a one night stay at the Paragon, 2 buffet
tickets & 2 movie tickets.
The winner of the grand prize was Zena
Thomas.
Ed
Granger & all members gave Carol a standing ovation, a big thanks & a
round of applause for all the hard work she does every year for LMEA &
for our conferences.
Carol thanked everyone for their continued
support & hoped that they had a wonderful time.
Carol then adjourned the meeting.
